It is possible to play iSketch on a Linux computer!
I have tested it with the following software:
- Ubuntu 6.10
- Wine 0.9.33
- Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.9 (for windows )
- Adobe Shockwave 10.1.4.020 (for windows)
and hardware (this is really the minimum):
- 1 GHz P3
- 512 MB RAM
- 64 MB Geforce4 440 MX
Short how-to
Step 1.
Make sure you have a computer with Ubuntu 6.10 installed.
Step 2.
Install Wine (http://www.winehq.com/) manually or with Synaptic:

Download software:
- download Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.9 for Windows ( www.mozilla.com )
- download Adobe Shockwave for Windows ( http://www.isketch.be/berichten.php?subjectid=1956&page=1#21356 )
Step 4.
Install software:

wine firefox_setup.exe
# Follow the instructions.
wine shockwave_setup.exe
# Follow the instructions. ATTENTION: Make sure you visit later (copy link) the triggerpage which is launched.
Step 5.
Start firefox:

wine ~/.wine/drive_C/Program Files/Firefox/firefox.exe
First visit the triggerpage and then browse to http://www.isketch.net/isketch.shtml
Stap 6 (optional).
You may discover your computer is very slow and especially playing iSketch. Most likely is that hardware acceleration isn't turned on yet. Here is a site with how-to's which you can follow (both NVIDIA and Ati graphic cards):
